Abstracto
The development of this thesis was based on the objective of determining the relationship between motivation and English language learning in fourth-year Infantry cadets at the Chorrillos Military School "Coronel Francisco Bolognesi", 2025. The methodological aspect of this research was carried out under the quantitative approach, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, all of which was developed at the correlational level, this being a basic type of research. The population consisted of 100 fourth-year infantry cadets, with a sample of 80 cadets. The technique for this research was the survey and the instrument the questionnaire. The validation of the instrument was through expert judgment and the reliability of the instrument was Cronbach's Alpha, this allowed the application of the instrument to obtain the results and determine the relationship between the variables, obtaining as a result that motivation has a significant relationship with English language learning, with the result of the Spearman Rho of 0.655, determined that it is a medium positive relationship between both variables. The conclusion reached in this research was that motivation is a fundamental variable for learning the English language. This is supported by the statistical results of this thesis.
